Uplift Incorporated is a 501(c) (3) designated charitable entity that provides educational assistance to youth who demonstrate a willingness to improve their overall quality of life and charitable contributions to the greater community. Based in Canton, MS, the nonprofit corporation supports public service programs that promote positive personal growth for young men and women.

Uplift Incorporated History

Uplift Incorporated is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in June of 2005. The foundation allows the Epsilon Kappa Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to engage in activities and undertake sponsorship of a variety of programs that provide benefits to our local service area.

The Mission

The mission of Uplift Incorporated is to mobilize and organize community outreach services to underprivileged children and at-risk youths and to provide mentors and scholarships that enhance the lives of these individuals.  Our mission is accomplished as we participate in mandated fraternity programs and in partnership with other local social service organizations.

Uplift Incorporated is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law); provide charitable services to the general public and to carry on any lawful business activities allowed by non-profit corporations in the State of Mississippi subject to the limitations of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
