On May 16, 2026, Uplift Inc. and the Epsilon Kappa Kappa Chapter, in partnership with the Madison County (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center, hosted the "Highway To Health" Community Block Party for the citizens of Canton and surrounding areas.

The community came out in strong support and received valuable health and wellness information focused on caring for the whole body and mind. Vendors and participants included Six Dimensions, Canopy Anywhere, the American Cancer Society, G.A. Carmichael Health Center Mobile Unit, G.A. Carmichael Health Center Dental, Total Body Submersion Swimming, the NAACP Canton Chapter, Massage Envy, MCAC PAI Voter Registration, UnitedHealth Group, Tamar Counseling, Penn Global Marketing, Family First, and Health Help MS.

The event proved to be highly beneficial, serving more than 100 participants throughout the day while promoting health awareness, wellness resources, and community engagement.
